Track Foreman-Crossett, AR
The R.J. Corman Railroad Switching Company has an opening for a Track Foreman to assist in the safe, efficient, and profitable general management of the track maintenance crew at our Crossett, AR location. The Track Supervisor will schedule, coordinate and supervise all personnel, materials, tools and equipment in performance of track maintenance and inspection. Three plus years of track maintenance experience required.
Requirements:
Coordinate, plan and perform track maintenance work (install ties, change rail, etc)
Perform track inspections to ensure safe train operations
Follow and monitor work practices, safety related issues to improve quality and performance
Work with customers, both internally and externally to develop good relations
Plan and provide future track improvements
Manage labor, tools and materials
Experience in Maintenance of Way standards
Prior supervisory experience
Familiar with and able to apply safety rules and procedures
Self-motivated and good communication skills
Work outdoors in inclement weather
Railroad backhoe experience
Equipment maintenance experience
Must live within 1 hr of the shop (108 Millyard Rd Crossett, AR 71635)
